About Nano Technology

We at UNC use nanotechnology to coat various surfaces that make the surfaces hydrophobic and hydrophilic ( the surface repels liquids), UV resistant and it seals the surface without changing the colour and texture of the surface that has been coated. Through doing so nanotechnology protects and extends the quality and value of the items it has coated for years to come.

Certain items like cars, bakkies and motobikes can be coated with a nano-ceramic coating that enhances the colour, makes it highly scratch resistant, UV resistant and also hydrophobic which makes it easy to clean and still extending the value, quality and appearance for a period of 10 years and longer if looked after.

Nanotechnology has been around for a number of years but only for scientific purposes. It has only been made available for commercial use in the last eight (8) years. UNC uses products supplied by Nano4Life Europe and UNC was established in September 2016 and has secured the license for the Western Cape.

UNC is based in Somerset West where secure premises for the washing, preparation and application of the Nano-Ceramic coating allow the whole process to be done indoors. For the application for other surfaces, we gladly visit our customers’ residence and coat the necessary surfaces as requested.
